Young Academy

Young Academy

Preliminary Training For 5 - 7 year olds

The Young Academy was created in order to prepare our younger performers for the challenges that face them in the main school and as such the format is the same... only shorter!

Young Academy students are given an introduction to the three key disciplines of the performing arts (acting, singing & dance) in three digestable, half hour classes.

Guided by our experienced, CRB cleared teachers, students will learn to focus their energy and enthusiasm into creative, progressive learning.

Young Academy students are encouraged to express themselves, to work creatively with others and to put in place the key skills and techniques that will enable them to produce focused, watchable work.

Oh and one other thing... they’ll have FUN!!... Lots of it!!

We believe in creating a fun, safe environment where our students can express and enjoy themselves while at the same time, learning the key skills that they will need to progress to the main school.

Young Academy sessions are held at:-

  • Lincroft Middle School, Oakley

    Saturday: 9:30am - 11:00am

  • Wootton Upper School

    Saturday: 2:00pm - 3:30pm

  • Henley In Arden High School

All those who wish to enrol their child should register their interest as soon as possible as class sizes are strictly limited to fifteen students and places are awarded on a first come, first served basis.

    Focused Learning

Here at the Academy we believe that our focused learning programme gets the very best out of each student.

Every Academy term has a clearly defined focus, be it performance, assessment or audition. By aiming towards a definite goal at the end of each term, our students are kept highly motivated and able to fulfil their potential in the performing arts.

With our programme of skill learning, assessment and performance, Academy students will quickly grow in confidence and ability.
