The Academy Of Performing Arts offers dance classes in Bedfordshire and Warickshire, drama classes in Bedfordshire and Warwickshire and singing lessons in Bedfordshire and Warwickshire in five performing arts school locations . . .

Our Biggleswade stage school runs every Thursday evening (4:30-7:30) at Holmemead Middle School, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.

Our Wootton Stage School runs on Friday evening (5:00-8:00) and Saturday afternoon (2:30-5:30) at Wootton Upper School and performing arts college (Artsmark performing Arts gold award), Wootton, Bedfordshire.

Our Oakley Stage School runs on Saturday morning (10:00am-1:00pm) at Lincroft Middle School (Artsmark performing arts gold award), Oakley, Bedfordshire.

Our Henley-In-Arden Stage School runs on Saturday morning (9:30am – 12:30pm) at Henley School (Artsmark performing arts gold award), Henley-In-Arden, Warwickshire.

If you are aged between 5 and 17 and would like to learn new skills (acting, singing and dance) and put them into practice in fully staged musical theatre productions . . . apply now to avoid dissappointment!

Congratulations to all our Wootton (Bedfordshire), Oakley (Bedfordshire) and Henley-In-Arden (Warwickshire) performing arts students for a stunning collection of Assessment performances. The strength accross the board was a joy to see with some extremely focused acting pieces and highly energised and comitted song and dance routines. It was a joy to see such strong emerging talent in the schools . . . Can’t wait to see you all put all your singing, acting and dancing skills to good use in next term’s show (and of course in the forthcoming auditions)! Assessment reports are now being comipled by the performing arts teachers and will be with you within 2-3 weeks.

The Academy Of Performing Arts (Bedfordshire) – Performing Arts Assessment Date

Assessment time is fast approaching us at The Academy Of Performing Arts (Bedfordshire). The students have been hard at work on their musical theatre pieces and they are almost ready to be put to the test! The assessment pieces include elements of acting, singing and dance and the students will be assessed in all three disciplines (students will receive their written assessment reports approx. 2 weeks after the performance). This year’s theme is “Decades” and family and friends are cordially invited to cheer the students through their performances! The Assessments will take place as follows . . . Biggleswade Academy Of Performing Arts, Thursday 25th April at 6:30pm . . . Wootton Academy Of Performing Arts (Friday School), Friday 26th April at 7:00pm . . . Oakley Academy Of Performing Arts, Saturday 27th April at 12:00pm (Aseessments to be held at Wootton Upper School) . . . Wootton Academy Of Performing Arts (Saturday School), Saturday 27th April at 4:30pm. Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes early as we have a full programme and will need to start on time. Following the Assessment performance, the Academy Awards ceremony will take place so, lots to look forward to!! . . . See you there!

Summer term dates for the Warwickshire Academies are as follows . . . Henley-In-Arden (Warwickshire) Academy Of Performing Arts (Friday School); 19th April – 19th July (Half Term – 31st May). Henley-In-Arden (Warwickshire) Academy Of Performing Arts (Saturday School); 20th April – 20th July (Half Term – 1st June). Auditions for the main school show will be on the weekend of 12th & 13th July. Any students unable to attend the Audition day should ket us know as soon as possible in order to arrange an alternative audition date . . . The “Show Term” show will be announced during the summer term.
